DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in jCore Server, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and
script insertion attacks.
Input passed via the "search" parameter to index.php is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.
NOTE: This can further be exploited to conduct script insertion
attacks.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.4. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
