DESCRIPTION:
Sammy Forgit has discovered a vulnerability in the Easy Contact Forms
Export plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious
people to disclose sensitive information.
Input passed to the "file" parameter in
wp-content/plugins/easy-contact-forms-exporter/downloadcsv.php is not
properly verified before being used to download files. This can be
exploited to disclose the contents of arbitrary files via directory
traversal attacks.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.1.0. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
