DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in the Planning module for
activeCollab, which can be exploited by malicious users to disclose
potentially sensitive information and by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks.

1) Input passed to the "what" parameter in public/index.php (when
"path_info" is set to e.g. "planning/api/30") is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.

2) Input passed via the "what" parameter to public/index.php (when
"path_info" is set to e.g. "planning/api/30") is not properly
sanitised before being used in an XQuery query. This can be exploited
to manipulate XQuery queries by injecting arbitrary XQuery code.

SOLUTION:
Filter malicious characters and character sequences using a proxy.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
Andrew Horton, Steven Seeley, and Pedram Hayati, Stratsec.
