DESCRIPTION:
High-Tech Bridge SA has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in Easewe
FTP OCX ActiveX Control, which can be exploited by malicious people to
manipulate certain data and compromise a user's system.

1) An insecure "Execute()" method can be exploited to execute an
arbitrary program via the "FilePath" parameter.

2) An insecure "Run()" method can be exploited to execute an
arbitrary program via the "FilePath" parameter.

3) An insecure "CreateLocalFile()" method can be exploited to create
an arbitrary empty file.

4) An insecure "CreateLocalFolder()" method can be exploited to
create an arbitrary directory.

5) An insecure "DeleteLocalFile()" method can be exploited to delete
an arbitrary file.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 4.5.0.9. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Set the kill-bit for the ActiveX control.
