Kiosk is a Palm hack/DA combination that can be used to lock a Palm handheld to a single application. When activated, only the current application can run, and a password is needed to launch other applications. This is useful when loaning a PDA to a child or to a co-worker to use for a specific purpose.

NotSync demonstrates the simplicity of obtaining and decoding the Palm system password. This version imitates the initial stages of the HotSync process via the IR port and retrieves and decodes the password of the target device.

PDD is the first tool of its kind for forensic analysis of Palm OS platform devices. pdd (Palm dd) is a Windows-based tool for Palm OS memory imaging and forensic acquisition. The Palm OS Console Mode is used to acquire memory card information and to create a bit-for-bit image of the selected memory region. No data is modified on the target device and the data retrieval is not detectable by the user of the PDA. Source code is available here.

SMS spoof is an application that allows you to send spoofed SMS messages with a palm pilot. It uses a dialup connection to an EMI/UCP-compatible SMSC. It works with a modem connected to the Palm, such as an IR link to a GSM phone with a built-in modem. SMS spoof has been tested with Telenor's SMSC in Norway, and should work with any SMSC that supports the EMI/UCP protocol as long as no authentication is required.
