The security issue is caused due to an error in the handling of host-based authentication. This may cause a user to be logged on with wrong credentials to a server running SSH Tectia Server. Successful exploitation requires that host-based authentication is enabled and the user must logon from an authorised host. The security issue has been reported in version 5.0.0 (A, F, and T) on Windows, Linux and Unix platforms.
