modhide1.c
Posted May 23, 2001
Authored by Nijen Rode

Modhide1.c demonstrates a new method of hiding kernel modules which does not trigger any normal detection techniques because it does not change lsmod or the system call table. Instead it hacks the kernel's memory to make it "forget" the module.

spfx2.c
Posted Apr 19, 2001
Authored by Nijen Rode

spfx2.c is a linux kernel module which stops many exploits by protecting the system from code running on the stack. Works by limiting the use of key system calls to library functions. Although spfx2 does not prevent buffer-overflow related crashes, it does make it very difficult to break security with with a buffer-overflow attack, preventing most root compromises.

Jinro.c will transmit TCP packets which generate replies containing a modem hangup sequence. This is an improved version of the old hangup bug which may circumvent firewalls / init string patch.

fathoe.c

fathoe.c is a fragment flooder which will lag and/or lock up windows machines on your local network.

Changes: This version works remotely, and uses so little bandwidth that I was able to freeze someone on a 56k with it.
