DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in HP OpenVMS, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users and malicious people to cause a
DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerabilities are caused due to unspecified errors within LOGIN
and ACMELOGIN functionality. No further information is currently
available.

The vulnerabilities are reported in the following products:
* HP OpenVMS Itanium versions 8.3, 8.3-1H1, and 8.4.
* HP OpenVMS Alpha versions 7.3-2, 8.2, 8.3, and 8.4.

SOLUTION:
