DESCRIPTION:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in RSA Data Protection
Manager, where some have an unknown impact and others can be
exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges and
by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Certain unspecified input is not properly sanitised before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.
2) An error exists in the restriction of authentication attempts for
OS lever user accounts.
3) Some unspecified errors exist. No further information is currently
available.
The vulnerabilities are reported in the following products:
* RSA Data Protection Manager Appliance 2.7.x.
* RSA Data Protection Manager Software Server 2.7.x.
