DESCRIPTION:
Marcela Benetrix has discovered a vulnerability in the AJAX Post
Search plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious
people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed via the "srch_txt" POST parameter to
wp-admin/admin-ajax.php is not properly sanitised in
cardoza_ajax_search.php before being used in a SQL query. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.1. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.3.
PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
Marcela Benetrix.
