DESCRIPTION:
Janek Vind has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in the FoxyPress
plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to
conduct cross-site scripting and spoofing attacks.
1) Input passed via the "txtStartDate", "txtEndDate", and
"txtProductCode" POST parameters to edit.php (when "post_type" is set
to "foxypress_product", "page" is set to "reports" and "report" is set
to "2") is not properly sanitised in reports.php before being returned
to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and
script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.
2) Input passed via the "id" parameter to edit.php (when "post_type"
is set to "foxypress_product", "page" is set to "manage-emails", and
"mode" is set to "edit") is not properly sanitised in
foxypress-manage-emails.php before being returned to the user. This
can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a
user's browser session in context of an affected site.
3) Input passed via the "status" parameter to edit.php (when
"post_type" is set to "foxypress_product" and "page" is set to
"order-management") is not properly sanitised in order-management.php
before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.
4) Input passed via the "page" POST parameter to edit.php (when
"post_type" is set to "foxypress_product" and "page" is set to
"affiliate-management") is not properly sanitised in
affiliate-management.php before being returned to the user. This can
be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.
5) Input passed via the "url" parameter to foxypress-affiliate.php is
not properly verified before being used to redirect users. This can be
exploited to redirect a user to an arbitrary website e.g. when a user
clicks a specially crafted link to the affected script hosted on a
trusted domain.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 0.4.2.5. Other versions
may also be affected.
