DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in CA ARCserve Backup, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable
system.
1) An unspecified error within the handling of RPC requests can be
exploited to execute arbitrary code on server installations.
2) An unspecified error within the handling of RPC requests can be
exploited to crash the RPC service on server and agent
installations.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions r12.5, r15, and r16.
