DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Linux Kernel, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users or malicious people to cause a
DoS (Denial of Service).

1) A NULL pointer dereference error when handling deletion of
directory hierarchies can be exploited to cause a kernel crash by
running "rm -rf" on a large directory hierarchy.

Successful exploitation requires an ext4 filesystem on a RAID
device.

2) A NULL pointer dereference error in the i.MX clock infrastructure
due to missing clock conversion can be exploited to cause a kernel
crash by e.g. tricking a user into playing a specially crafted WAV
file using aplay.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.4.10 or 3.5.3.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
1) The vendor credits Maciej Zenczykowski and Marti Raudsepp.
2) The vendor credits Javier Martin.
