DESCRIPTION:
Oliver Karow has reported a vulnerability in Dr.Web Enterprise
Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script
insertion attacks.
Input passed via the username on login page of the Web-administrator
component is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be
exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be
executed in an administrator's browser session in context of an
affected site when the malicious data is being viewed.
Successful exploitation requires that "Audit operations" option is
enabled in Enterprise Server configuration.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 6.x.
SOLUTION:
Install hotfix (please see the vendor's advisory for more
information).
