DESCRIPTION:
Red Hat has issued an update for the kernel. This fixes two
vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious, local users and
malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
1) An error within the "nf_ct_frag6_reasm()" function
(net/ipv6/netfilter/nf_conntrack_reasm.c) when reassembling fragments
can be exploited to cause a crash via a specially crafted packet.
2) An error within the "copy_creds()" function (cred.c) does not
properly clear the replacement_session_keyring flag, which can be
exploited to cause a crash.
SOLUTION:
Updated packages are available via Red Hat Network.
