DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in bcfg2, which can be exploited by
malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to an input sanitisation error in the
Trigger plugin when using the UUID field received from a client. This
can be exploited to inject and execute arbitrary shell commands with
privileges of the server daemon (typically root).
Successful exploitation requires root access on a client system.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.2.x
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the GIT repository.
