DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Libxml2, which can be exploited
by malicious people to compromise an application using the library.
The vulnerability is caused due to an off-by-one error in the
"xmlXPtrEvalXPtrPart()" function (pointer.c) when decoding certain
XPointer values and can be exploited to trigger an out-of-bounds
write.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the GIT repository.
