DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in various ABB products, which can
be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in an unspecified ActiveX
control and can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported to affect all versions of the following
products:
* WebWare Server
* WebWare SDK
* ABB Interlink Module
* S4 OPC Server
* QuickTeach
* RobotStudio S4
* RobotStudio Lite
SOLUTION:
As the affected products are nearing the end of their lifecycle, the
vendor is not providing fixes. Instead, set the kill-bit for the
affected ActiveX control (contact the vendor for more information).
