DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in 389 Directory Server, which can
be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the
"acllas__handle_group_entry()" function
(servers/plugins/acl/acllas.c) when handling certain certificate
groups. This can be exploited to trigger an infinite loop and exhaust
CPU via specially created certificate groups.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the GIT repository.
