DESCRIPTION:
Stuart Passe has reported a vulnerability in Trend Micro DataArmor
and Trend Micro DriveArmor, which can be exploited by malicious,
local users with physical access to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error within the
application's pre boot operating system and can be exploited to gain
access to the recovery console.
The vulnerability is reported in the following versions:
* DataArmor versions 3.0.10 and later and prior to 3.0.12.861
* DriveArmor versions prior to 3.0.0.439
SOLUTION:
Update to a fixed version.
