DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Bennet-Tec TList ActiveX
Control, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a
user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to the TList ActiveX control
providing an insecure "SaveData()" method, which can be exploited to
create or overwrite arbitrary files in the context of the currently
logged-on user.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in versions 6.5.16.0 and 8.0.26.0.
Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Set the kill-bit for the ActiveX control.
