DESCRIPTION:
Ryan Dewhurst has discovered a weakness and a vulnerability in
concrete5, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose
system information and conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

1) Input passed via the "cID" parameter to
index.php/tools/blocks/page_list/blog_rss (when "bID" is set) is not
properly verified. This can be exploited to disclose the full
installation path via an error message when "cID" is set to a
non-integer value.

2) Input passed via the "rcID" parameter to
index.php/login/forgot_password is not properly sanitised before
being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that the
victim uses Internet Explorer.

The weakness and the vulnerability are confirmed in version 5.4.2.1.
Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and
verified.
